  • Water 180 ml (+2 l for soaking)
  • Salt 2 tsp
  • Citric acid optional

For this recipe, I recommend using the mountain ash collected after the first frosts. If your berry is collected earlier to get rid of bitterness, soak it in steep boiling water with salt for 15 minutes. Then drain the water and throw the mountain ash on the colander.

From 180 ml of water and sugar, weld the syrup.

Place the prepared berries in boiling syrup and boil for 15 minutes over low heat. Remove the workpiece from the heat and let cool for 2 hours.

Then again bring the jam to a boil and cook over low heat, stirring, until softening the berries. If desired, at the end of the preparation, you can add a little citric acid - this will prevent the formation of mold and will not let jam suck.
