Apricots in syrup for the winter

Apricots in syrup are one of my favorite blanks. I use fruits for pies and other desserts, and also add to fruit salads. I like to impregnate cakes for cakes with syrup. In general, there are a lot of use options, I advise you to try!

Ingredients

  • Apricots (clean weight, without pits) – 1.5 kg
  • Sugar 400 g
  • Water 1 l
  • Lemon juice 1.5 tbsp

A step -by -step recipe for cooking

Rinse the apricots, peel, break in half and remove the seeds.

In a bowl for cooking, heat the water, pour sugar, warm, stirring, until completely dissolved.

Place apricot slices in the syrup, add lemon juice. Mix gently and boil over medium heat for 5-7 minutes.

Lay the hot slices of apricots into pre -sterilized jars (not reaching the top of the jar), cover with the lids.

Bring the syrup again to a boil, remove from the fire.

Boil the fruits in banks to the top with boiling syrup, roll up, turn it upside down and cool. Keep cans with a cooled blank in a cool dark place.
