There are different types, depending on the exposure period. Such solid cheeses are an invaluable source of protein, which is easily absorbed by the body. Parmesan's piquant taste perfectly complements vegetable and fruit salads, snacks and just cheese plates. Mature varieties are good in Paste, Risotto, Polente and other hot dishes. Also, cheese is added to soups and pizza in grated form.
